iPhone & Mobile Mini Sites

iPhone Icons A mobile mini site is a cut-down version of a website that is targeted at mobile devices, especially smartphones such as iPhone, Blackberry and Palm Pilot. These sites are offered to mobile devices as a substitute to the full site, often when the full site has features that are incompatible, like Adobe Flash.

Mobile mini sites are designed for a smaller screen, offering simpler navigation and less content on each page. They also have the ability to take advantage of phone, SMS and GPS functionality. Through standard web links, your customers can directly call or SMS you, or find you using GPS navigation in the Google Maps application.

All AndyM Design websites are designed to be mobile device friendly. We specialise in utilising web standards to achieve interactivity and maximise compatibility across all platforms and internet browsers. This means that our designs do not necessarily need a mobile mini site to be properly viewed. However, for larger, content heavy sites, they are recommended.
